Luxury hotel furnishings manufacturer Vanity Group has appointed Naomi Rheinberger as global director of marketing and communications to lead the brand and grow its portfolio.
Rheinberger joined the Australian team 18 months ago as marketing communications manager. In his new global role, he will be responsible for defining the overall product strategy, end-to-end marketing program and corporate communications for offices in Sydney, London, Dubai, Amsterdam and Shanghai. The newly created space is designed to expand across the UK, Europe, America and the Middle East.
Prior to joining Vanity Group, Rheinberger was Head of Public Relations and Communications for QT Hotels. His CV includes communications roles with M&C Saatchi Australia and Zomato. He reports to Vanity Group CEO and founder Paul Tsalikis.
"Ever since I met the CEO and founder two years ago, I've described Vanity Group as a flash of color," Rheinberger told CMO . "Paul promised me a world full of travel, life-changing experiences and endless growth – he delivered tenfold."
Vanity Group produces its own bathroom products and hotel accessories, such as Apples Apothecary and Lab, and works with other partners to activate the brands in the hotel space. The company was founded 11 years ago.
“The company is one of the pioneers of guest makeup suppliers and operates as a creative agency without egos or formula sheets. "The company prides itself on not being afraid of failure and fosters a unique culture filled with some of the sharpest minds I've ever met," Rheinberger said. "I loved that Vanity Group was equipped with everything from the creative studio, new, product development team, control room and retail arm."
For Rheinberger, the key qualities for success as a marketing leader are passion, enthusiasm, discipline and understanding.
"I believe that a successful career is at the intersection of passion and talent. That's what purpose is," he commented. "When it comes to big ambitions, be curious, disciplined, and find joy in challenges. Combine that with an awareness of your abilities and strengths, and fulfillment is bound to happen."
"Having the confidence of knowing I'm sitting on my target means I'm right where I want to be."
Rheinberger added that the company is focused on growth and wants to expand internationally.
"We work with new and existing partners to create unforgettable experiences around the world. Who wouldn't want to be a part of that," he added.
